[VIDEO] Thousands Turn Out for the City's Annual Summer Fireworks Spectacular

People danced, ate and marveled at spectacular fireworks at Sunday's Concert in the Park.

An estimated five thousand people came out to celebrate the city's 10th annual Concert in the Park and fireworks display at on Sunday night.

According to Recreation Supervisor Nick Newkirk, this was probably the largest turn-out for this event.

Popular dance band Platinum Groove got the crowds up and dancing, and food trucks, featuring hot dogs, snow cones and kettle corns, provided plenty of snacks.

This year the Cultural Arts Council was represented to sign up folks who may be interested in becoming involved in a variety of arts-focused events throughout the year. Go to the City's website for more information.
