WAGS Needs Funds
Dedicated members of the Westlake-Agoura Hills Girls Softball team hold a fundraiser for their trip to the ASA national championship with a mega bake sale.
Members from the 12U Westlake-Agoura Girls Softball (WAGS) team hawked baked goods Sunday afternoon at the corner of Grey Rock Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard to raise money for their trip to Oregon where they will vie for the ASA national championship.
The Gold All-Star softball team won the WAGS District Championship, and the team needs to raise $20,000 for the trip to Salem, said 12U Gold Manager Adam Goldstein.
"We raised over a thousand dollars at Sunday's event," he said.
