Peter Strauss Ranch reopened Sunday to the tune of live country music. The site was significantly damaged in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Peter Strauss Ranch reopened to the sound of country music after sustaining significant damage in the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

Peter Strauss Ranch, located at 30000 Mulholland Hwy., reopened Sunday with a Tiny Porch Concert featuring Albert and His Dreamboats, a Los Angeles-based country music group.

The 2018 Woolsey Fire burned nearly 100,000 acres of land in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, according to the National Parks Service. The fire significantly damaged Peter Strauss Ranch, shutting the landmark completely until Sunday.
