ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A Bay Area jury has ruled a company should pay over $1 million to four flight attendants after uniforms made by the business left the American Airlines employees ill, according to reports.

Twin Hill Acquisition Co.’s uniforms contained formaldehyde, reports said, causing the ailments.

Los Angeles-based flight attendant Tracey Silver-Charan told The Washington Post the uniforms, introduced in 2016, made her “violently sick” with “severe respiratory distress” and rashes, forcing her to leave work for six months, unpaid.
