Free Classes Offered at Newly Opened CycleBar Berkeley

Do you need to burn off some calories from your Thanksgiving feast? Try the new CycleBar for free.

BERKELEY, CA — Just in time for the holidays, CycleBar Berkeley has opened on University Avenue. To help you burn off your Thanksgiving calories and prepare you for more holiday feasts and parties, the fitness studio is offering 100 free classes through Dec. 4.

CycleBar offers a 50-minute, high-energy workout with a variety of classes designed for all ages and fitness levels. Classes take place in a state-of-the-art tiered CycleTheatre equipped with LED lighting, wide-screen graphics, and a DJ booth.

Riders can track performance data and download music used in the class session. After your free introductory session, class fees include cycling shoes, water, fresh fruit and spa-like locker rooms with a variety of amenities. The workout studio does not sell memberships — you pay-as-you-go.

CycleBar also dedicates studio time and resources to the local community through the company’s CycleGiving program. CycleBar Berkeley is hosting fundraising events for a number of local charities and non-profit entities. CycleBar corporate has a long-standing relationship with the American Heart Association.

“We wanted to open CycleBar Berkeley because this active, vibrant community is so committed to health and fitness,” says Heather Branstetter. “Plus, we’re able to give back through CycleGiving, and that was important to us. We can’t wait for new riders to experience CycleBar.”
