WHY:  Who says taxes aren’t romantic? For newly married couples, this major life change likely means their tax filing status will change, too. The H&R Block retail tax office in Delmar is dedicated to helping residents navigate an increasingly complex tax code and claim all the credits and deductions they are entitled.

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY:  Generally, married taxpayers file a joint return because of added tax benefits, including eligibility for certain credits. But filing separately can sometimes lower a tax bill for married couples, especially if one has experienced high medical bills during the tax year. A local tax professional is available to talk about the impact of marriage on taxes and to provide tax tips. To schedule an interview, please call Darlyn Kuhn at 407-949-1168.
