Police Calls: 2 Arrests, Wallet Theft at High School, Fishy Roof Repair Offer
The Albany police log for June 5-6 includes a drunk and/or disorderly arrest at the Ivy Room, a drug-possession arrest, a man threatening to hit a passerby on Thousand Oaks and a young trash-strewing male living in a sleeping bag at the creek.

The following information was obtained from the Albany Police Department's daily incident log and its arrest reports.
Wednesday, June 5
Threatening man in green – At 10:58 a.m., police received a report of a man yelling at and threatening to hit the reporting party as she passed by at Thousand Oaks and Curtis. The man was described as white, about 45 years old, dressed all in green clothing with a green backpack and duffle bag. Disposition: Unable to locate source of complaint.
Hit and run – At 12:13 p.m., police received a report of a hit and run accident that caused damage at San Carlos and Solano. Disposition: Case report taken.
ID theft – At 1:21 p.m., police received a report of identity theft from a person in the police lobby. Disposition: Case report taken.
Vehicle parked for 6 years – At 2:32 p.m., police received a complaint about a vehicle parked in the rear of a complex on Adams for six years. The reporting party would like advice on getting the vehicle removed. Disposition: Miscellaneous public service provided.
ID theft – At 3:34 p.m., police received a report of identity theft involving a Southwest credit card and payment to Comcast. Disposition: Case report taken.
Young male living at creek, leaving trash – At 6:38 p.m., police received a complaint of a "younger male living at the creek and leaving a lot of trash in the area, living out of a sleeping bag" in the hundred block of Cornell. Disposition: Log note only.
Car stolen, recovered – At 10:15 p.m., a person told police that he wanted to report the theft of his 1995 Honda. He said Richmond police called him to tell him that they had the car. Disposition: Case report taken.
Thursday, June 6
Drunk/disorderly arrest – At 1:27 a.m., police arrested a male student from San Mateo at the Ivy Room on San Pablo on suspicion of being under the influence to an unsafe degree or obstructing a public right of way.
Drug arrest – At 1:28 p.m., following an officer-initiated check on a pedestrian at Portland and Spokane, police arrested a male from San Pablo on suspicion of illegal possession of a controlled substance.
Suspicious roof-repair offer – At 2:07 p.m., police received a report of a man about 60 years old in slippers asking to repair the roof of an elderly woman on Portland. When the caretaker came to the door, he ran off toward Carmel. Disposition: Case report taken.
Wallet theft at high school – At 2:37 p.m., a person at MacGregor High School reported the theft of wallet by a student in the office at Albany High earlier today. Disposition: Case report taken.
Dog barking more than an hour – At 3:06 p.m., police received a complaint of dog barking for more than an hour on Stannage. Disposition: Responsible/s advised of complaint, will correct situation.
Motorcycle accident – At 5:20 p.m., police received a report of a motorcycle down in the roadway at Lane Splitter on San Pablo. Disposition: Case report taken.
