Police Calls: Craigslist Deceit, Noisy Skateboarder & Party, Car Radio Stolen
The Albany police logs for Aug. 2 include a drug paraphernalia arrest, a stolen car radio, identity theft, false information given in a Craigslist car sale and complaints about obstructionist cars, a noisy skateboarder and a loud party.

The following information was obtained from the daily incident log and arrest log of the Albany Police Department.
Friday, Aug. 2
Drug paraphernalia arrest – At 2:08 a.m., police arrested a San Francisco man at 1001 San Pablo on suspicion of illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Identity theft – At 9:41 a.m., police received an identity theft report of a credit card use at Home Depot in Hercules on Aug. 1. Disposition: Case report taken.
Vehicle radio stolen – At 10:39 a.m., police received a report of a radio stolen from a vehicle on Evelyn while the reporting party was on vacation from July 4-28. Disposition: Case report taken.
Craigslist deceit – At 11:03 a.m., a person told police she sold a vehicle for cash on Craigslist and believes she was given false information from the buyer. Disposition: Miscellaneous public service provided.
Car blocking another vehicle – At 7:09 p.m., police received a report of silver Toyota Celica parked behind and blocking the vehicle of the reporting party's father on Washington. Disposition: Miscellaneous public service provided.
Auto blocking driveway – At 7:46 p.m., police received a complaint of a vehicle blocking a driveway on Ramona. The reporting party wants it cited. Disposition: Miscellaneous violation – citation issued.
Noisy skateboarder – At 9:09 p.m., police received a complaint of a noisy skateboarder in his 20s with longish hair and wearing a sweatshirt and shorts in the middle of the street on Jackson. Disposition: Unable to locate source of complaint.
Noisy party – At 11:22 p.m., police received a complaint of a loud party in a backyard on Carmel. Disposition: Miscellaneous violation – warning given.
