Missing East Bay Teen Found In Stockton

The 15-year-old Berkeley girl was found at the home of a 25-year-old Stockton man who has been identified as the suspect, police said.

BERKELEY, CA — A suspect was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Berkeley teen who went missing earlier this week, police said.

The 15-year-old Berkeley girl was found Tuesday at the home of a 25-year-old Stockton man who has been identified as the suspect according to the Berkeley Police Department.

The Stockton man was arrested on suspicion of child abduction and arranging/meeting with a minor for lewd and lascivious behavior among other charges according to police.

The girl was reported missing early Tuesday morning from her family home in southwest Berkeley, police said.

Officers investigating the case learned the girl was possibly with the Stockton man and obtained a warrant for his home that led to the discovery of the missing girl.

“We are thankful we were able to reunite the missing 15-year-old with her family and we are grateful for the community’s assistance in locating her,” the BPD said in a statement.
