Aliso Viejo To Give Fire Safety, Disaster Preparedness Class

The City of Aliso Viejo will give a free lunchtime lecture on fire safety and preparedness to residents over 50 on July 1 at City Hall.

ALISO VIEJO, CA -- The City of Aliso Viejo will give a free lunchtime lecture on fire safety and preparedness to residents over 50 on July 1 at City Hall.

During the lecture, presented by the Orange County Fire Authority, attendees will learn the tops three causes of fires and the ways to respond, as well as how to create a home escape plan and how to use a fire extinguisher.

Also to be covered: family communication plans, disaster supply kits and preparing your home for a disaster.

The lecture is scheduled for 1-2 p.m. Monday, July 1 at Aliso Viejo City Hall, 12 Journey, Suite 200.
