Our purpose is to serve our members by providing savings, loans and other services in a convenient, equitable and competitive manner. Our members are the bedrock of our credit union. The financial strength of the credit union is maintained through annual board elections, periodic focus groups, committee involvement and diversity programs. We also provide financial and in-kind resources to others within the credit union community, and participate in cooperative activities from a local to a national level when appropriate. Capstone FCU also supports other public service activities ranging from the Alzheimer’s Association to the United Way.

Mustaches for Mutts, a facial hair-themed birthday bash hosted by a 10-year-old Aliso Viejo girl, has raised more than $400 for the ASPCA plus food and toys for the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter. This was the fourth annual birthday party fundraiser held by Bella Testa, a fifth-grader at Oak Grove Elementary School who eschews gifts in favor of helping animals, said her mother, Jennifer Encarnacao. This year's fundraising was done in honor of Bella's Grandpa John, an animal-loving Korean War vet who died Aug. 30, Encarnacao said.
