Online Registration Open for Aliso Viejo's Annual Snow Fest

Online registration kicks off this evening for the city of Aliso Viejo's annual Snow Fest on Saturday, Jan. 21 at Grand Park.

From the City of Aliso Viejo: Online registration kicks off this evening for the city of Aliso Viejo's annual Snow Fest on Saturday, Jan. 21 at Grand Park. Snow Fest will transform the Aliso Viejo Town Center park into a winter wonderland with more than 60 tons of snow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event boasts two sledding runs, a snow exploration park for kids 5 and under and special area for families with children 6 and older to build snow figures.

Priority registration for Aliso Viejo residents ONLY begins tonight at 8 p.m. (December 20) and continues through January 3, as space permits, for three sessions -- 11 a.m. to noon; 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and 2 to 3 p.m. Cost is $7 per person for a wristband to access the snow areas.

Children 12 months and under are free but must be registered and wear a wristband. For the Snowman Park, kids must be 5 and under and a paid adult must accompany children 2 and under. To sled down Grand Mountain, kids must be at least 7 years of age, while the required age for the Bunny Hill is 5 and older.

Along with snow areas, this popular city event features family games and contests, community information and food booths, music, a portable art studio and photo opportunities with "Frosty."

No onsite registration is offered, so register early as space is limited to 500 participants per session.
