Capstone Federal Credit Union is a federally insured, member owned financial cooperative. Our purpose is to serve our members by providing savings, loans and other services in a convenient, equitable and competitive manner. Our members are the bedrock of our credit union. Member-owned and not-for-profit, we’re a financial cooperative that puts your needs first. Our core responsibility is to actively serve our members and the communities they live in whenever possible. The financial strength of the credit union is maintained through annual board elections, periodic focus groups, committee involvement and diversity programs. We also provide financial and in-kind resources to others within the credit union community, and participate in cooperative activities from a local to a national level when appropriate. Capstone FCU also supports other public service activities ranging from the Alzheimer’s Association to the United Way.

A recent study based on data from the <a href="http://www.census.gov/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">U.S. Census</a> found that about 26 percent of the commuters in Aliso Viejo spend between 30-44 minutes on their trip into work each day. This is only the time spent getting to work, meaning more than a quarter of Aliso Viejo workers spend more than hour on the road each work day. The study also found: <ul> <li>18 percent spend 14 minutes or less on their commute</li> <li>41 percent spend 15-29 minutes on their commute</li> <li>15 percent spend 45 minutes or more on their commute</li> </ul>
