ALTADENA, CA — Altadena residents have circulated a petition in opposition to a proposed five-story housing project along Lincoln Avenue, according to Pasadena Now.

The petitioners claim the construction of the project would negatively impact the health of the surrounding community, cause additional parking and traffic issues and decrease property values, the magazine reported. The petitioner has garnered more than 300 signatures.

Residents have sent the petition to several local leaders, including State Sen. Anthony Portantino, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and Gov. Gavin Newsom.
