Kids Summer Reading Program at the Altadena Library

The Altadena LIbrary is offering regular events as part of two kids summer reading programs, one for teens and one for younger kids.

Registration has opened for the summer reading programs for kids of all ages.

The library has two programs, one for younger children, the "Dream Big - READ!" program, and a teen reading program for kids age 12-17 called "Own the Night."

According to a release from the library, the program's purpose is to "encourage children and teens to get in the habit of reading every day and to spark in them a life-long love of reading and learning."
