Meet and Greet with Altadena Sheriff's Officers Tonight
Have something you want to discuss with the commanders of the local Sheriff's station? They will be at an informal meet and greet event Thursday night.
There will be a public meet and greet with Altadena Sheriff's Station Capt. John Benedict, Lt. Duane Allen and Lt. Michael White at the on Thursday evening.
Benedict . Allen and White are the next highest officers, and White is serving as the head of detectives and is also in charge of community outreach.
The meeting will be informal, according to department volunteer Carolyn Seitz, and will also serve as a chance to say goodbye to Lt. Roosevelt Johnson, who is leaving the station.

Light refreshments will be served and anyone is welcome to come and go anytime during the meeting, according to Seitz.
