Missing Altadena Boy Found Safe

A 16-year-old boy who went missing for the second time since last month has been found safe.

PASADENA, CA — A 16-year-old Altadena boy who is diabetic and insulin-dependant and went missing has been found, authorities said Wednesday.

Xander Munoz was reported in good condition, but details of where and when he was found were not immediately available, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Munoz had last been seen about 8 a.m. Tuesday at Blair High School in the 1100 block of South Euclid Avenue in Pasadena, the sheriff's department said.

Munoz also went missing last month, leaving a group home in Altadena.
