Photo of the Week Contest

Here at Altadena Patch we're looking for you photos for a new(ish) feature called Photo of the Week.

The deal is, we want to showcase good local photos of Altadena from the public, and I am hoping to get everyone excited about submitting photos.

So, to jump start your interest, I'm sweetening the pot (beyond the simple joy of seeing you photos published at Patch) to include a canvas bag or water bottle for contest winners (pictured to the right).

Here are the basic ground rules for the contest

1) The photos must be local: either in Altadena or another close-by locale frequented by Altadena residents.

2) All types of photos will be considered, people, places, events, nature, outdoors, etc. etc.

3) Photos must have been taken within the last week

That's it!  I'm looking to get the first public Photo of the Week feature published next Sunday (November 14), and I'll set a deadline for photos for Sunday November 13.
