Today in Altadena: Altadena Filmmaker to Screen Feminist Documentary

1. Pasadena Unified School District and the Pasadena Educational Foundation invite students to attend the 2013 College Fair and Career Pathways Showcase Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center. The free event includes a college fair, seminars and student career portfolio showcase. There will be representatives from about 100 colleges, universities and technical schools.

2. Altadena filmmaker Jennifer Lee will screen her film “Feminist Stories from Women’s Liberation” Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Flintridge Retreat Center, 236 W. Mountain St. #117, Pasadena. The film documents the stories of feminists across the country.

3. The Altadena Library, 600 E. Mariposa St., will host a Preschool Storytime 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Main Library Community Room.
