
Two stranded hikers were rescued on a cliff at Eaton Canyon Tuesday, but were later arrested when authorities found that they had two outstanding warrants, according to a story in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
The hikers were spotted at 4:20 p.m., west of the first waterfall.
One of the hikers, a 27-year-old man with an ankle injury, was airlifted from the canyon. The other hiker, a 29-year-old man with a possible sprained ankle, was walked out of the canyon.

Gabriel Villalobos, 27, was arrested after it was discovered he had warrants for his arrest, including theft with a prior conviction. The name of the second hiker was not available, according to the Tribune.
