Arcadia High School Ranked Among America’s Most Challenging Schools

The Washington Post released its annual ranking of the most challenging high schools in the nation.

Arcadia High School was once again listed among Washington Post’s top high schools in the nation, finishing at 100 in the state of California.

However, the list also indicated that Arcadia High, which has consistently made the list annually, has fallen in rankings since 2011, when it ranked 46th in the state.

In 2012, the school ranked 87th.

The Washington Post ranked schools through an index formula that took into account the number of Advanced Placement, international Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, as well as the number of seniors who graduated that year.
