More Details Emerge in Arcadia Wine Dealer’s Alleged Fraud
Among other things, wine dealer Rudy Kurniawan allegedly had $11 million in personal debt.

Among the revelations, according to the federal criminal complaint:
- Kurniawan’s purported vintages raised red flags among wine connoisseurs because of improper bottles, labels and other details;
- He allegedly pledged artworks as collateral against more than one multimillion dollar loan;
- He had $11 million in personal debts (!), which he understated on loan applications.
