Baldwin Park to Host Earth Day Celebration Saturday
There will be a Tree Planning Celebration, free paper shredding and an Earth Day Forum.

Although Earth Day was celebrated last Sunday, the city of Baldwin Park will be honoring Mother Nature this Saturday with a tree planting ceremony, an educational Earth Day Forum and free paper shredding.

Activities come just weeks after the city was designated as Tree City USA.

From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. there will be a tree planting ceremony as well as raffles at the , located at 13701 E. Olive St., followed by an invitation to the Forum.

The Forum will take place at the starting at noon and will give information to residents about the importance of recycling, keeping an efficient garden and water and energy conservation methods, among other activities.
