A car accident involving two vehicles left two people with minor injuries in Baldwin Park Wednesday afternoon.

Officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene. Lt. Joe Dowan, from the , said two women were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Dowan said one of the cars was traveling northbound on Maine Avenue and the other was traveling westbound on East Baldwin Park Avenue. No other details were immediately available.
