UPDATE: Police Investigate Suspicious Package at Bank of the West in Baldwin Park
Lt. David Reynoso said the police are investigating a suspicious package.
Baldwin Park Police are investigating a suspicious package after receiving a call from the Bank of the West branch in Baldwin Park.
Police have shut down Ramona Boulevard near Sterling Way in Baldwin Park, 10 patrol cars are on the scene, including Baldwin Park police officers and firefighters.
The Los Angeles County bomb squad and hazmat team are en route, according to police. Paramedics are checking employees within the bank for any possible medical conditions that may be related to the suspicious package.

The suspicious package was found to be rolled coins in a paper package for a safety deposit box inside the bank, according to police.Â
