Police Looking for 'Ninjas' Who Robbed Medical Marijuana

A search was continuing today for two men dressed as ninjas who robbed a man delivering medical marijuana in West Covina.

The crime occurred about 9:45 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of South Sunset Avenue, West Covina police Lt. Alan Henley said.

The man was returning to his vehicle after making a delivery when he was accosted by the two suspects, who were armed with batons, Henley said.

The victim ran and dropped a bag that contained marijuana and currency, Henley said. No descriptions were released of the suspects, who wore masks.
