Sixteen Arrests After Police Raids in Baldwin Park
Baldwin Park Police and L.A. County Sheriff's Department completed a parole term compliance check.

A total of 16 people were arrested on Thursday after an operation to follow up on parole term compliances, carried on by the Baldwin Park Police Department and County authorities.
All 16 detainees are residents of the city and were arrested on charges ranging from possession of narcotics, firearms, and other violations of parole terms.

According to Lt. David Reynoso, spokesperson from the BPPD, the operation was targeted toward people on parole who were released by the state recently.
"The emphasis of the operation is to reduce gang activity in our community," said Reynoso. "We also want all people who are on parole to follow the terms of their sentence", he added.

Police also recovered 8 firearms during the operation.
