If he is arrested, the warrant will require him to post $1 million to get out on bail before trial.

Detectives have been working on the case since Nov. 10 when police said Martínez got into a fight with another man at a court-ordered AA meeting in a church at Los Angeles Street and Stewart Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

The fight ended and the two were separated. The other man left the meeting and entered a vehicle driven by his pregnant wife. Martínez allegedly followed the man and shot twice at the vehicle as it left.

The woman was struck twice in the neck, police said. She was hospitalized in critical condition at that time, but her condition was last listed as stable.

Police said Martínez then fled in an unknown direction. Authorities believe he might be in the West Covina or Los Angeles area.

Martínez has a tattoo on his right elbow with the word "pride." He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 180 lbs, and having black hair and brown eyes.
