Beaumont Father, Son Killed In Fiery Crash
The county coroner's office identified the victims of a Desert Center crash.

BEAUMONT, CA -- A father and his son were killed in a Desert Center car crash last week, the Riverside County Coroner's Office announced Thursday.
Donald Dearinger, 52, and his son, Nicholas Dearinger, 16, were killed on Oct. 26 when their semi-truck crashed into a big rig on eastbound Interstate 10, according to the CHP.
The driver of the semi-truck, Dale Phillips, 60, of Orange, was also killed, California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Radford said.

A fourth person, Donald Dearinger's granddaughter, Zoey, survived the crash but has major injuries.
The family is survived by Donald's wife Shalona and their three grandchildren, according to a fundraising page launched for the family.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
