Beaumont High School Temporarily Disrupted Over False Alarm
After an investigation Friday morning, officers determined there was no threat on campus.

BEAUMONT, CA — A false alarm Friday morning at Beaumont High School temporarily disrupted learning but the campus was quickly determined to be safe, according to the Beaumont Police Department.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m., school officials reached out to police about a "suspicious person" near the campus. At about the same time, a caller to the police department reported hearing shots at the school.
"Students were briefly placed on a 'hold and secure' while officers determined the source of the concern," according to the police department.
