Officials say that foul play is not currently suspected.

CORONA, CA — A man's body was found Monday at a Corona strip mall, but there were no signs of foul play, according to investigators.

Corona police Sgt. Chad Fountain told City News Service that the discovery was made shortly after noon in the area of South Main and Sixth streets, in a parking lot on the northeast side of the intersection.

"The coroner examined the remains at the scene and said there is no indication of foul play," Fountain said.

He said the identity of the man had not been confirmed, and it was unclear how many hours the body was there before passers-by called police.

Officers cordoned off entrances to the mall, as well as a portion of the parking area fronting a restaurant for the investigation.
