Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City Raises $35K Through Wreath Extravaganza
The Boys & Girls Club raised more than $77K thanks in part to the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, which matched the first $35K.

From the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City: The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City raised more than $77,000 thanks in part to the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, which matched the first $35,000 raised at the organization’s Holiday Gift and Wreath Extravaganza.
More than 250 people attended the seventh annual holiday event, which included the sale of various festive wreaths, a silent auction, plus a live auction, led by Orie Mann. Funds benefit afterschool programs, field trips, and many other activities, which all support the Club’s mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
“This Boys and Girls Club gives hope to an entire city, and this fundraiser will help these positive experiences continue,” said Scott Robinson, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City, one of three independent Boys & Girls Club organizations in the Coachella Valley.
