Coroner Identifies Hemet Man Fatally Injured In SR-60 Crash

The 47-year-old man died in the hospital following Monday night's wreck in Moreno Valley.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — The Riverside County coroner's office Tuesday identified the 47-year-old man who died in a crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Moreno Valley.

The crash was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Monday on the eastbound side of the freeway near Day Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided, injuring the motorcyclist.

The coroner's office reported that Eric Trainer of Hemet was taken to the Riverside University Health System Medical Center after the crash but later died of his injuries. It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
