Fatal Thanksgiving Night Shooting In Moreno Valley: Arrests Made
The victim was identified as 57-year-old Cesar Gaitan.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — One of two people arrested last week in connection with a fatal Thanksgiving night shooting in Moreno Valley remained jailed Monday.
Marquise Dontae Hall, 34, of Highland, was arrested Dec. 3 on suspicion of murder and was still being held Monday at Riverside's Robert Presley Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail.
Tyiesha Nicole Sweeney, 28, also of Highland, was arrested at the same time on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact, but she was released the following day on $20,000 bail, jail records show.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Hall and Sweeney are suspected in the shooting that killed 57-year-old Cesar Gaitan of Moreno Valley.
The gunfire was reported just after 9:30 p.m., Nov. 27, in the 13000 block of Heacock Street. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Gaitin suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics tried to save him, but he died at the scene, the sheriff's department reported.

It's unclear what evidence investigators found that allegedly tied Hall and Sweeney to the slaying. Neither suspect was formally charged in the case as of early Monday afternoon.
