Harley-Davidson Rider Injured In I-10 Crash Near Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — A Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider was injured in a crash Monday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 10 near Beaumont.

The solo-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 3:40 p.m., just east of Cherry Valley Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist was down in the #4 lane.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and a tow truck was summoned for the crashed bike.

There was no update on the rider's medical condition and no word on what caused the crash.

As of 4:20 p.m., traffic was backed up to east of Yucaipa Boulevard.
