Man Killed In Banning Truck Crash Identified

BANNING, CA -- A man who was killed this week while traveling on westbound Interstate 10 in Banning was identified. The Riverside County Coroner's office identified the victim as Tyler Chance, 27, of Yucaipa.

Chance was killed when a truck veered off the interstate, overturned and hit a tree around 10:20 a.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol./

Chance died at the scene, while a second victim was taken to a hospital with major injuries, said April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.
