Ring Camera Captures Domestic Violence As Riverside Man Drags Woman By Her Hair: Cops
The man was arrested in the case and charged with serious crimes.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — A Riverside man is being held in a San Bernardino County jail after a Ring camera allegedly showed him abusing a woman who was crying out for help.
Angel Edmund Gonzales, 32, is in custody at the county's Central jail on suspicion of corporal injury on a spouse, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, providing false identification to police, and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, according to jail records.
Gonzales was arrested during a traffic stop just before 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 22 in Riverside, near Iowa Avenue and Central Street. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, he was reported to law enforcement by a caller who stated that their Ring camera had captured an unknown woman crying and asking for help at a residence in the city of Grand Terrace.

"A male approached the female and dragged her by her hair, pulling her from the front porch and out of camera view," the sheriff's department said of the Ring footage.
Detectives assumed the investigation and determined the woman was a domestic violence victim, and Gonzales was identified as the suspect. Further details were not released by the sheriff's department.

Gonzales is currently being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. He is due in court Oct. 7.
