Riverside County Teen Caught With Loaded Gun: Sheriff's Dept.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A Riverside County teenager was arrested Tuesday after allegedly being caught with a loaded gun. The teenager was found with other teenagers around 9:23 a.m. at Moreno Valley Community Park. After being approached by an officer, the teenagers ran away, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

One teenager was seen throwing an object into a drainage canal that was later determined to be a loaded handgun, officials said. The teenager, 15, was arrested for being in possession of a loaded firearm.
