Westbound 10 Freeway Closes In IE Due To Multi-Fatality Crash
The deadly pileup involved several vehicles, including at least two tractor-trailers.
ONTARIO, CA — A major injury crash on Tuesday in Ontario forced the full closure of all Interstate 10 westbound lanes.
At 5:45 p.m., the California Highway Patrol reported that lanes would reopen "shortly."
The multi-vehicle crash was initially reported at about 1:14 p.m. just west of Interstate 15.

According to preliminary information from the CHP, two semi trucks were involved and at least one of them erupted into flames. Serious injuries were reported.
KTLA reported that at least three people were killed and two were hospitalized with serious injuries from the crash that involved "several" tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles.
