A Message From Belmont Public Works About Street Sweeping
The city will not perform street sweeping on Thanksgiving Day. If Thursday's your normal day, your street will be attended to on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Holiday Street Sweeping Schedule
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, your street sweeping day will be changed to an alternate day. Please see the schedule below to find out when your street will be swept during the holiday week.
If your sweeping day falls on Thursday, Nov. 28th, your street will be swept on Tuesday, Nov. 26th.
If your sweeping day falls on Friday, Nov. 29th, your street will be swept on Wednesday, Nov. 27th.
*A friendly reminder to move your vehicles from the roadway so the sweeper can properly clean to the curb and gutter.
Other ways you can help our Sweeper properly clean to the roadway gutter:
Please don’t blow yard debris into the gutter or roadway.
Do not sweep leaves into piles. The sweeper truck cannot pick up piles taller than one-foot high.
Place branches and leaves into your compost bin.
Trim leaves and vegetation back behind curb. The sweeper needs 14 feet of vertical clearance.
