BRSSD Launches New Website, Logo
A new website an logo reinforce the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District's 21st century learning initiative.
After months of design, community input, information aggregation, and implementation of the latest technology in website development, the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District (BRSSD) has introduced a new website that will serve as the 21st century face of the district.
The website and accompanying district logo designs were a collaborative effort led by BRSSD director of educational services, Jennifer Kollman.
The new site contains information on every aspect of the district--from school board agendas and budget information, to academic programming and district news updates.

A new logo, incorporating an the district's schoolhouse graphic with a globe and the phrase "Creating the Future", was designed by BRSSD parent Christine Wong.

Wong's design is prominent throughout the website and will be incorporated into the district's printed and digital materials. A note on the website acknowledges Wong for her contribution, "Many thanks to Christine Wong, Redwood Shores Elementary School parent, for giving our District and website school house logo a new look reflecting our commitment to 21st Century Learning!"
Interim co-superintendents Nellie Hungerford and Suzanne Roy welcome users to the new site with a message:
"Whether you are a current resident of the district, considering relocating to the area, or just browsing – this website has been designed to provide information about Belmont-Redwood Shores Schools, such as teaching and learning, National School lunch program, school year calendars, budget information, technology plans, facility projects, Board policies and much more. Soon to come are links for parents, students, individual school pages, education-related agencies and other sites that provide information about education both locally and at the State level."
