Downed Tree Blocks El Camino Real In Belmont
A large tree fell Monday afternoon and blocked both directions of El Camino Real at Belmont Drive.
BELMONT, CA — A downed tree snarled traffic along a stretch of El Camino Real in Belmont on Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.
The San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department confirmed the incident a few minutes after 2 p.m., urging drivers to avoid El Camino Real at Belmont Drive, due to the tree and downed power lines in the area.
An ETA for reopening was not immediately available.
