Grass Fire In San Mateo County Extinguished, Road Expected To Reopen: Police
Police reported earlier in the day they had closed down the road due to a nearby grass fire.
BELMONT, CA— Police sent out an alert late Wednesday afternoon stating they would be shutting down a road in Belmont.
At 4:23 p.m. the Belmont Police Department reported the fire had been extinguished and that the road was expected to reopen within the hour.
At 3:41 p.m., police reported they were shutting down Shoreway Road near the Motel 6 to all vehicles due to a nearby grass fire, and police are advising everyone to avoid the area.
