Woman Shot In Leg In Belmont

Police said they were pursuing several leads and believed the shooting was an isolated incident.

BELMONT, CA — Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman with a leg injury Tuesday night in Belmont.

According to police, witnesses reported a shooting on Ralston Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, and officers arrived to find a woman with a gunshot wound to her leg. Medics took the victim to the hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they were tracking several leads in the case but believed the incident was isolated with no threat to the broader public.
