And the Best Burger in Belmont Shore Winner is.........

The results are in and Tavern on 2 was named the best place for burgers in the Belmont Shore and Naples area in our first Best of Patch poll.

Tavern on 2 received 42 percent of the vote and beat out stalwart and enduring favorite In-N-Out, which held steady all week with a strong showing. Here were the nominees by Patch readers, who had a week to consider the best burger in our patch of America: Archibald's Char-broiler; Quinn's Irish Pub & Grill, Gallagher's, In-N-Out, Small Cafe, Legend's, Tantalum, Tavern on 2, 49er's Tavern, Jack 'n the Box, 5 Guys.

Commenters defininitely had their favorites but it was often a tie for them between two places. Your comments showed, however, Tavern on 2 serves up a unique array of burgers with twists. And an enormous size (and, of course, they cost more for the pleasure).

"The Chorizo Burger from Tavern on 2 is easily my favorite Burger anywhere."

"Don't forget about Tavern on 2. The chorizo and lamb burger is fantastic there."
