Gas Prices Drop for Sixth Consecutive Week
Here's where Patch has found the best deals in your area.

Finally, some good news at the pump--a price break of about four cents a gallon over last week.
In about month's time, prices have dropped 45 cents per gallon from their peak (about $4.30 a gallon in early May, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California's Weekend Gas Watch.)
For the sixth straight week, per gallon prices are down, averaging $3.941 for regular in the Los Angeles-Long Beach Area. and 89 cents higher than last year.

In the Inland Empire, the average price per gallon is $3.906, which is 3.9 cents lower than last week, 30 cents lower than last month, and 87 cents more than last year, according to Auto Club. It says that Orange County prices for regular are averaging $3.91, down four cents per gallon.If you are heading out of town, San Diego's average price is $3.906, a decrease of 3.9 cents from last week, 29 cents below last month, and 84 cents higher than last year.
“The regional average gas prices for Southern California are very close together right now – all are between $3.90 and $3.98 a gallon,” said Auto Club spokesperson Jeffrey Spring.
