Weather: Heavy Fog to Blanket Belmont Shore, Naples
On Alamitos Bay: A quick video and photos from Bayshore Avenue capture dense fog over the water, all but eclipsing Naples and the Second Street Bridge.
Heavy overnight cloud cover and fog are forecast for early Friday, with the coast socked in for several hours after midnight. Highs today are forecast to be 62 with a low of 51 degrees.
"Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog and drizzle after midnight. Lows near 50. Southwest winds around 15 mph in the evening," Weatherbug reported.

When I stopped the car to grab a picture, I could hear a dog on the water but it was blanketed in the fog. Poochy never did emerge on the bow of a boat, dog-paddling, but barked away near the buoy around mid-channel.
