Polka Dot Spring! Ladybugs Free at Nursery
The Long Beach Armstrong Gardening Center and other locations will give one pack per family to celebrate the new season.
The petite red-winged bugs are known to help gardens grow, and that's why Armstrong is offering one packet of the lucky charms per household Saturday, while supplies last.
Matt Maldonado, Armstrong Garden Centers community liaison who also handles marketing and the company's School Garden Program, said late Friday that the give-away at Long Beach's location and in other cities is a "welcome Spring'' promo for neighborhoods. One local location is at 3842 East 10th Street, in Long Beach.
