Video: Patch Blogger Rolls With The Rock
The now famous boulder motors slowly toward Long Beach, where the Mayor will greet it and morning TV shows before sunrise. Later in the day, the rock will be the guest star at a street party.
Long Beach will be throwing the 340-ton rock star of rocks a party Wednesday as it wheels into town at 8 mph. That's where our intrepid Belmont Shore-Naples Patch blogger and chronically curious Trish Tsoi-a-Sue cornered the massive boulder Tuesday night.
Watch the spectacle here as cars are backed up passing the rock on its rig bound for the LBC. Mayor Bob Foster has a date with the granite and media corps about 5:15 a.m., and later, at a street party for the rock's stop.
"I Want to Rock with You," is hosted by the Bixby Knolls Business
Improvement Association.
