Our grand finale brings Haydn’s last and greatest symphony to the stage—his jubilant farewell to the form he helped define. The evening opens with Prokofiev’s cheeky Classical Symphony and Saint-Saëns’ passionate Cello Concerto No. 1, performed by our exceptional principal cellist Isaac Pastor-Chernik. His playing combines fire, grace, and total command of the instrument.

Poetry by the Bay will have a special December 17th spoken word&nbsp;open mic&nbsp;show at the Mira Theater.&nbsp;
The group usually meets on every 4th Thursday of the month from 7:30 to 9:30 PM, but due to the Christmas holiday, the event been&nbsp;has rescheduled for December 2025.&nbsp;
Bring some original poetry to perform live on stage&nbsp;or just come support your local poets!
Next shows will be January 22nd, February 26, and&nbsp;March 26.&nbsp;&nbsp;

BHS is kicking off a great season of theater with the Off-Broadway hit, “PUFFS,”, a hilarious parody of the Harry Potter world, seen through the eyes of the least appreciated House.&nbsp;
Tonight's performance will feature an alternate cast for "Puffs- Unsung Heroes Night". So, if you've already seen the show... come again! The show involves improv as part of the performance so it changes every night! 
The New York Times proclaims Puffs “A fast-paced romp through the ‘Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic’.” For Potterphiliacs who grew up alongside Potter and are eager to revisit that world, Puffs exudes a jovial, winking fondness for all things Harry!” 
“Puffs” runs on Dec. 12, 13, 18*, 19, and 20 at 7 pm and on Dec. 14 at 2 pm at the Benicia High School Hayley Horn Theater. Tickets are $17 adults/ $10 students in advance at www.TABBS.org and $19 adults / $12 students at the door. The show is recommended for ages 13 and up. 
*Dec. 18 will feature an alternate cast performance for “PUFFS: Unsung Heroes Night.

St Peter's Chapel

Geared for children aged 6 - 10 and their adult companions, the world of stained glass will come alive in this fun, interactive workshop at St. Peter’s Chapel on Mare Island. The session will start with a look at the Chapel’s luminous stained glass windows, which include 25 by Tiffany Studios, as the children learn how they were made and what stories they tell.
Next, everyone will make their own tissue paper stained glass window from templates that celebrate many Holiday traditions, including Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. 
This community holiday event is offered free of charge! It is co-sponsored with Alibi Bookshop of downtown Vallejo, who will have a fun selection of holiday books available to purchase. 
The class is free and limited to 12 children per session – so reserve your space today! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
There are 2 sessions for this workshop: 10-11:30am and 2 - 3:30pm.
